Ferdinand has always been drawn to form, materials, and space — even at a young age he was already fascinated
by design and objects with character which grew over the years.
Drawn to pieces that carry character, are well made, and feel simple yet striking.
His own work grew out of that — slowly, and almost by accident.
He began experimenting with textures, materials, and raw forms.
For the past 14 years until present, Ferdinand runs an online gallery focused on Mid-century furniture.
That background shaped how he looks at materials, proportion, and what it means for
something to have presence.
His studio in Tilburg is both a place to create and to store
the materials used — reclaimed wood, metal, and paints.
It’s a space where ideas take shape.
